Student of the Month Award for July 2025
Arthur Cambridge
This award is given to our best behaved and most respectful student each month, and to the student we feel is committed to their training and always focused on their personal development.
Arthur never misses a lesson and often trains twice per week, he is focused, engaged with whatever technique he is working on and is always happy to help with other students without being asked. Recently Arthur has chosen to help teach the Red Belt and White Belt Students to help with his revision of the lower grades and to help improve his technique, this wasn’t suggested or prompted by an Instructor, Arthur asked if he could get involved which shows what kind of student he is.

Sensei Lee Nelson Being presented with the Club Registration for
Sale Ju-Jitsu Academy
by Sensei Andrew McConville
Last Night was the first Sale Ju-Jitsu Academy Training Session.
It was a slow start with only a few brave new students, but as always Winsford Jujitsu Club showed up in force to do what we do best.
As expected the knife technique session received the most comments.
A very Special Thank you to Sensei Andrew Robinson, Sensei Neil Cheswick & not forgetting Sensei Andrew McConville
I would also like to thank the Assistant instructors for their help, Sophie Wallace, Jack Birtles, Chris Wright & Richard Wallace.
Last but by no means least, thank you to the first Sale Ju-Jitsu Students for your support, the first session is always the most difficult, or should I say walking through the door for the first time.
All in all a good night
